The Essex Birdwatching Society founded in 1949 offers excellent value for money. The group offers various coach and field trips, indoor meetings and a very professional quarterly magazine for its members. In addition to this, you will also receive the critically acclaimed and superb annual Essex Bird Report, a fantastic book listing every species seen in Essex for that year. The Bird Report is worth the membership fee alone.
