Thorndon Country Park 17th March 2002

-----

Thorndon North Country Park is a joint venture between Essex County Council and the Essex Wildlife Trust. The park has? a very busy Centre that was built in 1989 using specially-treated timber salvaged after the 1987 Storm. The display area within the Centre contains interactive displays which are changed regularly and are both fun and educational for all the family.

Despite some expectations to the contrary due to the weather, our group had some very nice birds in our species list.
