I walked along sea wall past sewage works for about half a mile: 9 Little Egret roosting on salt marsh across the Crouch, 1 Black Swan on sewage works pools, 2 Common Tern over, 1 Green Woodpecker, 1 Grasshopper Warbler reeling from rough mound 200 metres N of sewage works, 2 Reed Warbler, 1 Sedge Warbler.
