Two Tree Island: High Water 08.20 - 08.40hrs on mudflats to east of saltings off Leigh Old Town Brent Goose 21, Oystercatcher, Ringed Plover, Grey Plover, Knot, Turnstone, Dunlin. 09.30 - 0.20hrs Lagoon at western end of TTI: Shelduck, Mallard, Teal, Moorhen, Oystercatcher, Avocet 22 - one with dull copper coloured ring on tarsus of right leg - could not read any numbers on it with my telescope with 28 magnification, Ringed Plover, Redshank.

Two Tree Island: We had great views of 2 Short-eared Owls on Two Tree Island at around 4pm today. Very close views, down to 30 feet, as they were quartering, we had them in view on and off for about 30 minutes. This was from the Country Park side of the island , ( creek side). Nathalie Schorbon.
