Late afternoon on eastern end of Wallasea turned up a Jack Snipe Click here for more information on the Jack Snipe - opens in new windowso confident of his camouflage that we stood watching from 12ft as he hid amongst grass stems in the easternmost borrowdyke. Also adult Mediterranean Gull flew past Wallasea Ness. Single Avocet on shore pools. Later Barn Owl by Breade House near Ballard's Gore and Little Owl along Scotts Hall lane.
