2 Marsh Harrier (probably a female and immature male hunting together for 15 minutes over the usual reedbed area mobbed by crows), 1 Swallow (feeding continually over the scrape), 2 Cetti's Warbler (or possibly 3 singing), 1 Chiffchaff (singing from car park), 20 Black-tailed Godwit (on flooded fields), 1 Skylark (singing), 1 Water Rail (heard), 9 Snipe (3 on scrape, the rest flushed from reedbed by quartering harriers), 4 Greylag Goose (inc 1 on nest). Shelduck, Teal, Mallard, Cormorant, Little Egret, Oystercatcher, Ringed Plover, Grey Plover, Knot, Dunlin, Curlew, Black-headed Gull, Meadow Pipit, Pied Wagtail, Robin, Blackbird, Magpie, Carrion Crow, Starling, Chaffinch, Reed Bunting, The highlight was a flock of 70+ corn bunting.
