Report from Chris Henry Loch of Kinnordy - 9th June 2006 No sighting of Osprey this visit. I was told it was not nesting nearby this year but does fish the loch. Not much about but Reed Bunting and 2 Water Rail with 3 young were the highlights. Peterhead Golf Course - 11th June 2006 50+ Skylarks. An amazing sight. They were everywhere and always very low, even landing close by on the fairways or on the green. Certainly put me off my golf ! Especially when a full grown Red Deer jumped the fence onto the course. Oban Ferry Terminal - 14th June 2006. 3 Black Guillemot. Visit on Mull 14th - 18th June 2006. Not very good weather. My own sightings plus * were confirmed by Richard Atkinson whilst on days Wildlife "Safari". Red Deer.*
Mistle Thrush. I felt I had several sightings of Golden Eagles but could not be positive.
