Species observed: Goldfinch, Magpie, Black-headed Gull, Greenfinch, Great-spotted Woodpecker, Fieldfare, Blackbird, Wood Pigeon, Green Woodpecker, Lapwing, Wigeon, Brent Goose, Shelduck, Redshank, Mute Swan, Carrion Crow, Avocet, Great Crested Grebe, Grey Plover, Turnstone, Goldeneye, Little Egret, Mallard, Marsh Harrier and Peregrine both sitting on ground together! Also Observed: Speckled Wood, Brimstone, Orange Tip, Comma and Peacock Butterflies. Roe and Muntjac Deer. Red Fox. At West Stow a Stoat was observed raiding a mouse nest and carrying off each individual youngster before finally capturing and killing the adult parent.
